Haukilahdenkatu - bus stops (H3008 & H3009) are located on Hermann's Embankment, at the intersection of Haukilahdenkatu and Kyläsaarenkatu. At least buses 55, 56, 738 stop at this bus stop.

Hermannin rantatie rajaa Hermannin asuinalueen sekä Kyläsaaren, Hermanninrannan ja Verkkosaaren toisistaan. Kyläsaaressa ja Hermanninrannassa on vielä vuonna 2024 lähinnä teollisuusaluetta, mutta sinne rakennetaan asuntoja 2020- ja 2030-luvuilla. Hermannin Rantatietä kulkee paljon autoja, koska se toimii läpiajoväylänä.
Hermannin rantatien nimi oli vielä 1990-luvulla Varastokatu.
Hermannin rantatiellä kulki vielä 2000-luvulla Sörnäisten satamarata, joka kulki Pasilan alaratapihalta Sörnäisten satamaan Sompasaareen. Rataan liittyi myös haara-ratoja. Agroksenmäen kohdalla oli syvä kallioleikkaus, jossa kulki pistoraide Teurastamon alueelle 1930-1970-luvuilla.
Lopullisesti Sörnäisten satamarata poistettiin, kun satamaliikenne siirtyi uuteen Vuosaaren satamaan vuonna 2008. Pääosa Sörnäisten radasta purettiin vuonna 2009. Radan tasoristeykset hankaloittivat liikkumista.
Raiteet tekivät taas paluun, kun rantatielle rakennettiin raitiotie vuosina 2022-2024. Raiteilla kulkee raitiovaunu 13, joka kulkee Sompasaaren kärjessä sijaitsevan Nihdin ja Länsi-Pasilan välillä. Katso erillinen sivu Kalasatamasta Pasilaan -raitiotiehankkeesta.

Haukilahdenkuja 9 is a housing company built in 1994 by the Housing Production Office of the City of Helsinki. It consists of two apartment buildings. Between 2022 and 2024, a tramway was built between Kalasatama and Pasila, along with associated streets, pedestrian walkways, cycle paths and public utilities, resulting in a major roadworks project on the Hermann embankment. Behind Hermann's Neste and next to Agroksenmäki is an old cellar, the exact age of which is unknown, but the first mentions of it date from the late 1860s. The Helsinki Campus of Diakonia UAS is located at Kyläsaarenkuja 2 in Kyläsaar, where you can study social and health care, interpreting and church youth work. The building was completed in 2015. The campus has a total of 1 700 students. The building has a chapel. Diak also rents out its facilities to external parties.
Fif Burger on Hermann's Beach Road 25 was a popular truck stop burger restaurant that closed in 2022. There's a lot of construction going on in the surrounding areas, so there's a lot of fleet moving around these corners. Next door was the St1 auto dealership. Nesteen huoltoasema sijaitsee osoitteessa Hermannin rantatie 18, Hermannin rantatien ja Vanhan talvitien risteyksessä. Huoltoaseman yhteydessä toimii Huili-taukopaikka, joka aloitti toimintansa 5.12.2025 entisen K-ruokakaupan tiloissa. Huilissa on tarjolla kahvilapalveluita.
