Vellamonkatu 29 consists of three houses located at the northern end of Vellamonkatu, next to the Hermann embankment. The houses belong to Kiinteistö Oy Auroranlinna, a real estate company owned by the City of Helsinki.
The houses have four floors and a total of 6 staircases. The houses have a total of 70 apartments and were completed in 1995.
The company has a common courtyard Haukilahdenkatu 6 with.
The company takes its name from the Auroran Castle in Länsi-Pasila, which was designed by architect Juha Leiviskä and is one of the buildings owned by the company. The Auroranlinna building is named after the Aurora Hospital in Helsinki.
