The name Windward is part of the nomenclature of cinemas in the area. The Tuulensuu Cinema was located at Hämeentie 2 in Hakaniemi between 1939 and 1979. The name was changed to Arena in 1979. Tuulensuu was a large, fine and at the time the only so-called premiere cinema north of Pitkänsilta.
