The red-brick Sörnäinen Crown Mansion is located at Hämeentie 39 a. It is just on the Hermann side of the Sörnäinen border - between Hämeentie, Lautatarhankatu and Junatie. The Lautatarhankatu tram stop (H0315 & H0316) is located on Hämeentie, by the Helena Old People's Home, near the intersection of Lautatarhankatu and Mäkelänkatu. Trams 6 and 8 stop at the stop. Kutonen runs from Arabianranta via Kallio and the city centre to Eiranranta. Kasi runs from Arabianranta via Töölö to Jätkäsaari.

Helena Old People's Home
Helena Nursing Home is a Russian-speaking nursing home at Hämeentie 55, run by the St Helena Foundation. The main building was completed in 1913 and has an Orthodox church on the third floor, dedicated to the female martyrs Vera, Nadezhda and Lyubov (Faith, Hope and Love) and their mother Sofia. The building of the old state margarine factory at Lautatarhankatu 2 was completed in 1924 by Uno Sjöholm, architect of the Prison Department of the Ministry of Justice. The factory was built by prisoners. The old factory building is now a residential building.
