The Hämeentie bridge runs from Hermann/Vallila to Kumpula/Toukola. The bridge was built in 1964 and renovated in 2011. Heading north, Hämeentie ends after the bridge and Kustaa Vaasan út begins. Hämeentie 105, located on Hämeentie parallel street, is an office and warehouse building built in several parts. The oldest part was built in the 1960s and renovated in 1990. In 1991, a new five-storey building was built next to the existing building. The low-rise industrial and office building at the corner of Hämeentie and Haukilahdenkatu was originally built in 1955, but was later extended. The house was designed by Yrjö Lundgren. The basement of the building houses Sauna Hermanni, which has been used as a public sauna since the 1950s. The skate park under the Hämeentie bridge, or Hermanna skate park, is a popular and ascetic skate park. Established in 2008, it is also covered, as it is located under a massive bridge. The skate park hosts the Liveblast rap festival in the summer. Suvi Auvinen wrote about the skate park in 2017 in Voima magazine under the title People under the bridge. The house at Hämeentie 85-89 occupies an entire block between Saarenkatu and Violankatu. The building, completed in 1957, was designed by architect Toivo Korhonen. In 2022, the six-storey building will house the café Milla, the blind shop Kaihdinkulma and the Kallio-Käpylä branch of the Finnish Red Cross on the street level. The Allotrian Park runs along the edge of Hämeentie. In winter, a hill is lowered from the park's hilly cliffs. The houses at Rialtonkuja 6 and Allotriankuja 4 are located on the edge of the park. The park takes its name from the Allotria cinema, which used to be located at Hämeentie 68, the corner of Hämeentie and Mäkelänkatu, where the Kapsäkki music theatre and BistroK restaurant are now located. The Hermann Deacon's House at Hämeentie 73 was designed by Matti Hakuri and completed in 1966. Together with the Deaconess Institute, the Helsinki Congregation provides special deaconry services in the building, such as meals and accommodation for the homeless, the undocumented, prisoners and people suffering from substance abuse. It was once the border between the city and the municipality, the Sörkä customs, the Five Penny Customs or Hämeentulli, where the Itäinen Viertotie, now Hämeentie, ended.
